A defect is not a verdict
Worth the compromise?
Check a used listing against the work you actually want to do. You enter and confirm the listing’s faults; reviewed model evidence and exact cost calculations decide the assessment.
Seller tests and every price you enter are unverified. No repair, reliability or compatibility guarantee.

Privacy and how this assessment works
This form has no browser saves, share links or automatic submissions. Automated note reading is not enabled on this site: there is no seller-note field. You type each fault yourself.
When you request the assessment, your fault cards (including any short quotes you typed), function choices, included-component note, grade and costs are sent by POST to the site’s deterministic assessment. They are computed in the response and not retained by the application. Hosting/security systems can still see your IP address, request times and endpoint names; their retention is described in the site policy.
The assessment cannot verify the unit’s condition, invent a workaround or make a purchase. The browser keeps inputs only in this open form. Clear inputs when you finish, and do not type names, contact details or order numbers into a quote.
Manual price worksheet
This earlier worksheet works without the listing assistant and without JavaScript. Its price thresholds are editorial heuristics; use the purpose-aware assessment above for a flawed item’s suitability.

Bargain or skip?
A listing says "no charger", "small scratch" or "as-is". Tick what is missing or wrong, add the prices you found for the replacements, and see whether the real total still makes sense against a reference price.
You supply every price; this site publishes none yet and does not verify yours. With JavaScript on, the arithmetic runs in your browser and nothing you type leaves it. Without JavaScript, the form posts to this page; the server computes the verdict in the same response and does not store the values. The host's standard access log records that the page was requested, not the posted values.
How this is decided: real total = asking price + the replacement cost of every missing item you do not already own + every repair cost you know. Classification uses exact cents: a total of 70% of the reference or less is a bargain, up to 90% is fair, above that is a skip; percentages shown are rounded for display only. The reference must be for the same condition as the listing; a comparison against a different condition is shown as a saving, never as a verdict. "For parts / not working", a fatal defect or an unexplained functional problem is never a bargain or fair, whatever the price. Any unknown required cost blocks a bargain. Every price here is one you entered; this site publishes no prices and has not verified yours, and the thresholds are an editorial rule, not market data.
